Welcome to our British GT Motorsport photography workshop with Dan Bathie. This is one of our flagship Motorsport workshops for 2024 and if you are joining us for this weekend, you can expect the full VIP luxury treatment. You will not have to worry about any of the logistics all weekend as we have you covered from start to finish, allowing you to completely focus on the photography.
We will be attending the final round of the 2024 British GT Championship at the iconic Brands Hatch circuit. Brands Hatch is a natural amphitheatre offering unrivalled views of the action from various vantage points and is known as ‘Britain's best-loved motor racing circuit’ (although we think they are all pretty great!).
With trackside access increasingly more restricted in recent years, learning how to shoot from behind the fence as a spectator is more important than ever. Mastering this is crucial to improving your motorsport photography. If you can shoot stylish & eye catching images from behind the fence then you are well on your way as a motorsport photographer. Throughout this weekend our photography tutor Dan Bathie will show you how to maximise this and how to use it to your advantage.
-
As we approach the end of the Motorsport calendar, where better to get your Motorsport fix to see you through the winter months. This final British GT weekend provides us with the perfect setting for learning, practising and honing those crucial motorsport photography skills. On top of all that, you can also choose to experience the full VIP hospitality experience throughout the weekend.
Throughout the weekend our photography tutor, Dan Bathie will help you get to grips with some of the most challenging aspects and techniques required to photograph the fast moving world of Motorsport.
These will include elements such as panning shots / motion blur, how to achieve fantastic images from the spectator areas, plus how to capture those more detailed, intricate paddock shots. We will take you to the very best vantage points across the circuit and guide you through the process of shooting Motorsport in order to help further your own photography journey.
Another additional opportunity for photographers attending our British GT photography workshop is through our partnership with The Pit Stop magazine. You will get your images published in an exclusive feature article about this photography workshop. Readers of The Pit Stop magazine include McLaren CEO Zak Brown - so don’t miss the opportunity to get your images seen by some of the most influential people in the world of motorsport!
