Experience the Magic of Snowdonia in Winter: Winter Photography Workshop

Join us for a winter photography workshop in the stunning Snowdonia National Park. As winter blankets the landscape in a serene layer of snow and ice, Snowdonia transforms into a breathtaking wonderland, offering unparalleled opportunities to capture its rugged beauty and tranquil scenes. This workshop is designed to help photographers of all levels harness the unique qualities of winter light and master the art of winter landscape photography.

On this weekend photography workshop in Snowdonia, North Wales, we will explore some of Snowdonia’s most photographic winter locations in the company of local photographer and mountain guide Helen Iles. Helen will not only guide you to the most dramatic and amazing locations but she will enrich the locations with tales of their mythical and dramatic history.

North Wales has a very different atmosphere in the winter months, from it’s snow-capped peaks and stormy skies to wintry lakes and snowy towns and villages. The main tourist season is over and the harsh winter conditions have arrived, bringing a much more challenging, yet spectacular landscape. Snowdonia in the winter really displays a completely different side!

Reserve your spot today and immerse yourself in the magic of Snowdonia's winter wonderland.

  • This is excellent news for us! These weather conditions create a fantastic opportunity for some incredibly dramatic and epic landscape photography! The rugged mountains and frozen landscapes offer us the perfect opportunity to capture Snowdonia and its surroundings in all it’s winter beauty. We will have the option to photograph at a number of different locations from snowy mountains, to panoramic winter scenes to wintry streams and lakes. Although we plan an itinerary for you, once we have our group booked, we are very flexible and adaptable with the itinerary. This photography weekend is about you and your photography learning experience, so we can adapt to suit the groups best interests.

  • Helen is a photographer and mountain guide. She has been published in magazines such as 'The Great Outdoors' and 'Outdoor Photography' on many occasions, She has been shortlisted numerous times in 'Landscape Photographer of the Year' and 'Outdoor Photographer of the Year' and her work has been printed in the accompanying books.
