The continued rise of digital photography has made it easier and more affordable for enthusiasts to capture and share motorsport images. Plus, the rise in social media with platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube , these have played a significant role in popularising motorsport photography, driving engagement and inspiring new photographers.
Our journey began with a passion for action and adventure, with a particular love for capturing the unmatched excitement of motorsport. Our primary aim when starting The Photographic Adventure Company was to offer world leading photography workshops, aiming to provide amateur, budding and even semi-pro photographers with comprehensive training and tuition. We are still very much on that journey, constantly creating new and exciting photography workshops.
Our motorsport photography workshops are the ONLY media accredited workshops found anywhere on the planet, meaning that no one else can give you the same level of access, training and tuition as we can. We are forging a path never trodden before. With our media accredited photography workshops we can help you to take your motorsport photography knowledge and experience to brand new heights. By attending our workshops, you can fast track your career, not only in terms of photography knowledge but also the incredible networking opportunities that lay on offer to you. Networking is crucial for any photographer or business and we have done the hardest part for you - gaining you the elusive access.
As with any business, the need to evolve and adapt to the market remains crucial, as well as the need to be as competitive as possible within an ever more demanding industry. As we grow The Photographic Adventure Company, we aim to offer a range of photography workshops and services, however, motorsport will always be present at the forefront of the business. We will constantly strive to offer the very best photography workshops on the market.
However we want to be more than just workshops. We want to become your one-stop shop, your go to destination for all things motorsport photography. We want us to be your first port of call for information, advice, training and more. Our aim over the next few years is to become the most comprehensive resource for motorsport photography enthusiasts across the UK and globally. We plan to increase our blogs including guest blogs, exclusive industry insights, offers, further workshops and training opportunities alongside events, all providing fantastic networking opportunities. We are constantly expanding our partnerships with other businesses and photographers, in order to bring you fantastic deals across both the worlds of photography and motorsport.
Our first step into achieving this is our brand new Amateur Motorsport Photography Awards (AMPA). A brand new motorsport photography awards competition, recently launched and aimed solely at amateur motorsport photographers, the Amateur Motorsport Photography Awards is an exciting competition offering those dedicated amateur motorsport photographers the chance to be crowned Amatuer Motorsport Photographer of the Year. Plus we have some fantastic photography and motorsport prizes up for grabs alongside gaining valuable exposure across social media. We are incredibly excited to have been able to release and open this competition to you, as we are super passionate about providing a platform and opportunities for aspiring motorsport photographers.
Away from AMPA, what else are we doing to achieve our goal? We are building a friendly and supportive network of amateur photographers, in particular our FaceBook group called Amateur Motorsport Photography Network (AMPN). Do go and check it out. Plus, in 2025 we will be releasing a free membership where you will be able to take advantage of exclusive offers, content and experiences, offering the chance to explore even more incredible opportunities.
