We are SUPER excited and thrilled to announce that we have booked Ty’n Rhos Country House Hotel on the outskirts of Snowdonia National Park for our Snowdonia (Eryri) Autumn Photography Adventure and our Snowdonia (Eryri) Winter Photography Weekend.
Rated as 5-star guest accommodation by Visit Wales, the facilities are absolutely perfect for both our North Wales based photography tours. The accommodation mixes the romance and adventure of Snowdonia (Eryri) along with that luxury feel that is so important for us and our tours.
The rooms are all very large with en-suite bathrooms and they are furnished beautifully, with a unique style. There are incredibly peaceful and relaxing social areas for relaxing and chatting with one another or for looking back at our photographs after a day out exploring. These facilities include a cosy bar and a stunning lounge with a fireplace. The menu is crafted from locally sourced, fresh ingredients and we will have the pleasure of tasting the menu for breakfasts and dinners on our photography tours. There is also a fantastic garden to wander around and explore. The staff are exceptionally friendly and welcoming and are all very passionate about looking after their guests to the very highest standard.
The hotel, located on the outskirts of Snowdonia National Park, 5 miles from both Caernarfon and Bangor and easily accessible by car, provides us the perfect location to base ourselves, ready to explore Snowdonia and North Wales. There is plenty of parking if travelling by car as well. The Country House is surrounded by farmland, in a quiet location with fantastic views. We are really excited to welcome you onto our North Wales photography adventures in 2024 and 2025 knowing that our guests will be staying in one of the best hotels in North Wales!

Another key reason that we decided to book Ty’n Rhos Country House is their amazing customer service. Due to the nature of our business, we talk to A LOT of suppliers, predominantly B&Bs and Hotels. Ty’n Rhos stood out by a country mile in how they communicated with us via email, phone and in person. Not only do they have fantastic customer service but they also take a real interest in their guests and in our case, the business and what we offer with our photography tours and adventures. They took the time, care and consideration to make sure their accommodation and what they could offer was right for guests of The Photographic Adventure Company.
Adding further to this, they are a business and we are a business. Right from the first exchange we shared, it was clear that Laura (the owner and manager ) was exceptionally keen to support a young, startup business in North Wales. The Photographic Adventure Company is a family run, photography tour and adventure business in it’s first year of trading. Laura was excited to see a new business springing up, especially after the hit so many businesses have taken in North Wales over the last few years. As a small startup business, there is nothing more comforting and encouraging than when an already established business, especially a local one is prepared to help another business. Businesses collaborating together is something that doesn’t happen anywhere near enough. We are passionate about this at The Photographic Adventure Company and we believe that businesses helping other businesses is only a positive thing!
